Setting up your Sleep Style Modifier

The Sleep Style Modifier has the ability to help you move the odds of finding the in game creatures you desire into your favor. Use this device at your own risk as it may go against the App’s Terms of Use. The Sleep Style Modifier shipped to you has a USB power cable, two Sleep Style Selector Switches, and one Power Switch. The Modifier induces motion into the sleep tracking device landing zone on the lid. The landing zone on your device will be a 3M Command Strip with a soft spot in the center of it where the vibration motor is located. The vibration motor does make noise, so it is suggested that you move the Sleep Style Modifier to another area that you are not in to avoid annoyance from its sound. Before placing the sleep tracking device on the landing zone, you will need to remove the backing film that is still attached to the supplied 3M Command Strip to attach your sleep tracking device. Do your best to center the sleep tracking device on the supplied 3M Command Strip to ensure that the best energy transfer can occur from the Sleep Style Modifier landing zone strip to the sleep sleep tracking device strip.

Starting a Sleep Session

Caution 1: Failing to firmly seat the sleep tracking device onto the landing zone may result in a fully failed session ending in a Slumbering type that timed out after six hours.

Caution 2: Unintentional motion picked up by the sleep tracking device may cause skewed results.

1: Plug the Sleep Style Modifier’s supplied power cable into the supplied USB power supply (or another applicable USB power connection).

2: Select the desired sleep style you wish to achieve via the selector switches. To select Dozing or Snoozing verify that the left switch is toggled toward the DOZ/SNZ SELECTOR label.

3: Firmly place the sleep tracking device onto the landing zone. Then start your sleep session by briefly holding the center button. (Mute your device at this time if desired).

4: Toggle the power switch to the ON position. The green LED at the modifier active label will illuminate.

Ending a Sleep Session

Note: The shortest session that can be recorded is ninety-five minutes. For simulating nap sessions, it is recommended that you set a ninety-seven-minute or longer timer and end the session when the timer goes off.

1: Stop your sleep recording session by briefly holding the center button on the sleep tracking device.

2: Toggle the power switch to the OFF position.

3: Review your sleep results in the Sleep App.
